What Does Tom Brady Eat?

When your mom tells you to eat your veggies because they’re good for you?

Meh, we might not always want to listen.

But if one of the most successful and famous quarterbacks of all time happens to eat them … and lots of ’em? That’s a whole nother ballgame!

New England Patriots’ quarterback Tom Brady’s personal chef, Allen Campbell, was interviewed by Boston.com  earlier this week … and he talked about how he fuels  one of the greatest athletes of our time .

(Mr. Campbell cooks for the family so that includes Tom Brady’s supermodel wife, Gisele Bundchen, and their two children too…)

Some of what they eat (and don’t) may surprise you!

Eighty percent of what they eat is vegetables and whole grains (such as brown rice, quinoa and beans).

The other 20% is lean meat such as chicken or grass-fed beef as well as some wild salmon.

On the flip side …

No sugar (no candy!). No white flour (so no pizza, no bread, etc.). No dairy (milk, cheese, gulp, ice cream). No coffee or caffeine.

And, oh yeah, everything is organic and/or locally grown (which is admittedly easier to do if you are a millionaire and have someone cooking for you).
