October 3, 2012 — Adam Greenberg got his at bat last night. He faced one of the top pitchers in the league, R.A. Dickey, who throws tricky knuckleballs. Adam Greenberg struck out. But he says that wasn’t the end of his dream, it’s just the beginning. To see Adam’s at bat, click here to be taken to the video on the Miami Marlin’s website . And he was interviewed on this morning on the Today show. Click here to see it.
Also, make sure to submit your questions for Adam and Matt down below! We’ll send 20 of them over to answer. You have until October 12. Thanks to Matt and Adam for taking kids’ questions!

September 28, 2012 — Imagine if the best moment of your life happened at the exact same instant as the worst moment of your life.
It doesn’t happen often, but that’s what happened to Adam Greenberg.
He was a 24-year old baseball player who was a fraction of a second away from fulfilling his childhood dream of playing Major League baseball.
9-year old Eoin M. (pronounced Oh-en) was so inspired by what happened next, he told HTE about the story … and did a brilliant job writing it up for you. There’s video and a link about the story below, too. Great job, Eoin! Thanks!

I saw you tonight and was so happy for you. Sorry you struck out. Do you think it is because you should be having your chance with the Chicago Cubs? What are you going to do with your famous life now?
We were very excited to see your at bat and learn your story. I think you should be a coach if you don’t play again in the MLB. Would you ever try that? Also, do you still like to watch baseball on TV?
This is soo inspiring! My question is:
Do you tell yourself anything (something that maybe motivates you) when the ball is coming your way?
Adam, what interested you in baseball?
Matt, what inspired your to share his life story with the world
Adam, what is the best thing you love about baseball?
How old were you when you started playing?
Did he have any other complications from his injury? or is he fully recovered now?
Adam, do you feel like the your team rejected you after your injury?
What does Adam enjoy the most now?
Was baseball his dream or career?
For Adam: What encouraging words did his friends and family give him?
Adam,
What is the absolute best thing about baseball?
What does home run mean? Can it be compared to a scored goal in soccer?
Adam, you were really bold and a real fighter too but was there a point when you felt really scared and that he could not make it to the end?
Did your family and friends always support you at all times?
What are some of Adam’s hobbies?
Which player does Adam Greenberg admire in baseball?
What was the name of Adam’s baseball coach and would he also consider being a baseball coach?
